"Transformers" actor Shia LaBeouf looks to have been involved in a street fight outside a bar in Vancouver last week. According to local radio station News 1130, it is not clear what started the fight, but LaBeouf allegedly threw a man down inside a club called Cinema Public House, after which the venue's security threw the two men out.
TMZ obtained alleged video of the altercation, in which a stocky shirtless man is shown punching a younger man, who appears to be LaBeouf. Eventually, the younger man gets up and attempts to chase the attacker but is held back by a friend.
LaBeouf's rep had no comment on the altercation when contacted by MTV News.
The 25-year-old is no stranger to controversy, having been arrested in 2007 when he refused to leave a Chicago drugstore, then again in 2008 after a serious car accident that involved major hand surgery. LaBeouf later referred to the accident as "one of the biggest things that's happened to me, for sure, in my life. ... I'm grateful to be here."
LaBeouf, who will next appear on the big screen in "The Wettest County in the World," has often said he hoped to not follow in the footsteps of other former child actors who ended up in the tabloids. He has also said that dealing with being a celebrity has taken getting used to.
"I'm dealing with it," he said. "It's all very new. I'm trying to figure out how to be edible to a lot of people."
