Confirming earlier reports, Pippa Middleton has signed a deal to write a party planning book, according to he UK's Daily Mail. The publisher is Michael Joseph, an imprint of Penguin, who is believed to be paying her a $600,000 advance.

"It will be about entertaining and throwing the perfect party. It’s not just about being the perfect hostess – it will also include recipes and information about how to host different types of events," a source told The Mail.
Pippa Middleton, 28, will not be employing a ghostwriter for the work, since she already works as a writer and editor in an event planning capacity.
She runs the website Party Times for her parents' online party supply and planning company, giving her actually relevant experience in the field.
Being one of Britain's best known - and newly single, after breaking up with Alex Loudon - bachelorettes doesn't hurt her name recognition either.
